- Diet: They are primarily insectivorous which means the majority of their diet consists of insects but they also eat other things.
- Lifespan: 12-14 years in captivity.

- Fun Facts: Meerkats are small mammals from the mongoose family and are very social by nature – meerkats live in groups called mobs, gangs or clans. They are commonly known for their inquisitive nature and upright stance.
