Get red-dy to wear red!
We are pleased to announce that this year on February 6th we will be hosting our very first fundraising event at
All Things Wild for the British Heart Foundation’s ‘Wear it Beat it’ day!
Coronary heart disease is the UK’s single biggest killer, which claims around 73,000 lives a year – that’s an average of 200 lives every day.
Money raised from events such as ‘Wear It. Beat It.’ is currently helping to support over 1,000 research projects into heart disease around the UK.
Progress is being made, but there are still millions of adults and children who need help.
We at All Things Wild know that one in four of our loved ones are lost to heart and circulatory disease, so we would like to help The British Heart Foundation
who are asking the nation to show their support by wearing red and attending events that are taking place around the UK to help fund their life-saving research.
On the day, there will be a variety of fun activities such as a red raffle, an animal hearts quiz,
a red cake & cookies sale, perfect for all the family to get involved!
We will all be wearing red on the day to show our support and would love it if you could come and join us in the fun for our very first charity event at the park!
You can also visit the British Heart Foundation’s online shop and stock up on red-related items especially for the day.
