Enhancing our ability to assist and accommodate guests with sensory needs.
All Things Wild has partnered with KultureCity® to enhance our ability to assist and accommodate guests with sensory needs. Our goal is to provide an inclusive experience for all guests during all events. We strive to raise awareness of the needs and challenges faced by individuals with sensory processing needs by supplying our staff with annual training and by offering the resources and accommodations below to our guests.
KultureCity® Sensory bags containing special KCVIP badges, feeling thermometer, fidget tools, and noise-cancelling headphones are available for checkout (at no cost by leaving an ID) at our Main Reception located in the Toy Shop.
Weighted lap pads are available upon request (at no cost by leaving an ID) at our Main Reception located in the Toy Shop.
We have two dedicated quiet areas in the park. If needed, people are able to visit these areas whenever they wish to relax and have a break. These areas are located on the ‘What Am I Trail?’ in the Wild Meadow (Number 13 on our map) and next to our Prairie Dog enclosure (down from number 5 on our map)
We have relevant signage up around our park, indicating the louder areas around our site.
Visitors may want to wear their Noise Cancelling Headphones in these areas to feel more comfortable.
