RING-TAILED LEMUR
Lemur catta
- Native to: The Ring-tailed Lemur is only native to Madagascar. Although found in deciduous forests, dry scrub and humid forests, they prefer gallery forests.
- Diet: Omnivores by nature, they eat fruit, flowers, bark, tree sap and small insects.
- Lifespan: Up to 20 years.
- IUCN Status: Endangered.
- Fun Fact: It is one of the most recognised lemur species due to their long black and white ringed tail.
